An exploration of the beauty and geometry found in the abstract patterns of colour, shadows and details. I create these images with a deliberate absence of scale, often in a square format, to enhance the perception of abstraction.
This collection of images stems from my fascination with the geometric shapes and patterns as well as the textures created by human construction. Typically, colour is not a significant component and I create the composition in black & white to enhance the geometric elements I see.
The common theme in this collection is "metal and machines" and the interesting metallic reflections that exist. My eye is drawn to the strong geometric forms and dramatic contrasts that can exist in the industrial environment.
